Swanson’s Die Company, Inc. began
manufacturing steel rule cutting dies in 1985 and has
met the challenge of growth and technology this industry
demands.
Steel rule dies are manufactured for a widely diverse
group of industries from automotive to packaging, electronics,
and medical.

| Cutting dies can be made with
tolerances ranging from +/- .005 to +/- .015 using
maple plywood, Lexan, or Rayform base materials. Rule
types vary from 2 pt. .918 high to 6 pt. 2inches high
as well as various bevels and serration configurations. |

Capabilities include layout and design by Auto Cad or Cim Pack, hand jigged or laser cut bases, CNC rule bending equipment, and stringent quality control inspections.
Steel rule dies can be
manufactured with bolster plates for ease of stripping.
Stainless
steel rule and punches are available for medical
applications as well as clean room applications.
We
use only the finest materials in the manufacture
of our cutting dies.
From the initial design and engineering through the
completion of the manufacturing process, all of our
staff members are highly skilled with extensive backgrounds
in the die making industry.

We utilize the latest die making software, automatic benders and lasers where applicable combined with our skilled craftsman to produce the cutting dies that your company requires.

Quality Control: Quality is something that Swanson’s
Die Co., Inc takes very seriously. We have a strict
set of internal guidelines in which all dies are checked
for quality of workmanship and accuracy prior to being shipped.
Files
are accepted through e-mail in .DWG, .DXF, and .EPS file
formats.
By utilizing all departments within
the company we are able to take advantage of using technology
and different types of dies to accomplish difficult designs
or processes. Mixing steel rule dies along with our clicker
dies and even our CNC machined dies and specialty punches
gives us great versatility in the way that we look at,
design, and manufacture cutting dies.
